These include Agrelo, Assento, Casadela, Cavadas, Cortegaça, Costeira, Cruzeiro, Docim, Eirós, Lavandeira, Montim, Outeiro, Pica, Ponte Docim, Portela, Ranha, Ribeirinhas, São Lourenço, Serrinha, Souto das cales, Tomada, Torre, and Veiga. The lives of these villagers intertwined with the Igreja de Quinchães. The church records were transferred to the Civil Registry offices in 1911. They remained there for a century, eventually finding their way to the District Archives. Imagine the journeys these volumes have taken.
