Founded in 1991 Iglesia Nueva Vida has been a cornerstone of faith in New York City. Its story is one of resilience and growth. Pastors Julio and Leonor Rodriguez its leaders have guided the congregation for decades. They met in 1978 marrying in 1980. They have two children and five grandchildren. Pastor Julio’s journey is particularly compelling. Raised in a traditional religious household he became an atheist in 1974. His mother a woman of unwavering faith constantly prayed for him. She passed away shortly after he graduated as a Chemical Engineer. This loss occurred during a period of great rebellion against God. Yet his mother’s prayers and faith seemingly played a pivotal role in his later return to faith. The church’s website speaks of its mission to spread the Gospel worldwide. It holds services both in person and online. It offers a welcoming community for people of all backgrounds. The church’s emphasis on family and community is evident. It provides programs for children and youth groups. Iglesia Nueva Vida represents more than just a place of worship. It’s a vibrant hub for spiritual growth. It stands as a testament to the power of faith perseverance and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
