Whispers of faith began in a Tijuana carwash in 2003. The Walker family started holding Bible studies there. Soon, they felt a pull to expand. They moved their burgeoning congregation to the outskirts of Tijuana, laying the foundation for Iglesia Bautista El Camino in May 2003. Iglesia Bautista El Camino quickly became a beacon of hope in its community. The surrounding area experienced rapid growth. Over 15,000 homes sprung up within a few kilometers of the church over the next ten years. Iglesia Bautista El Camino served as the sole church in this developing area. This positioned them to share their faith with a constant stream of new residents. They welcomed an average of 1,000 adult visitors annually for over a decade. The church wasn’t just content with its initial success. Iglesia Bautista El Camino looked towards the future with a vision for continued growth. They held firm to the belief that the best was yet to come, trusting in their faith to guide their path.
