They saw the deep scars of the country’s cruel history. The suffering they witnessed ignited a passion within them. They felt compelled to help Cambodian families. They founded ICF Cambodia in 2014.

ICF Cambodia isn’t just a church. It’s a vibrant community center. It’s a beacon of hope in Siem Reap. This incredible organization tackles poverty head-on. It empowers people to reach their full potential. It’s built on the Christian faith but its impact extends far beyond religious boundaries.

The Struplers’ vision was simple yet profound. They wanted to improve education levels lifestyle and relationships. ICF Cambodia’s multifaceted programs support entire families. They provide food medicine and education. A dedicated team of over 20 social workers provides daily support. They cover basic needs for more than 250 families. That’s hundreds of people fed daily. They even offer emergency aid.

ICF Cambodia has a unique approach. It’s not just about handouts. It’s about teaching self-sufficiency. It’s about providing the tools for lasting change. This holistic approach provides education in skills like gardening and woodworking. Children receive English lessons. The campus even offers free clean water to the community. It’s a safe haven a place where children and young people can thrive.

The ICF campus is bustling. It’s not only a spiritual center. It also features a basketball court a football pitch a tennis court. There’s even a ninja warrior water sports area. The ICF also offers something truly unique. It’s home to Cambodia’s first wakeboarding park. This incredible project generates financial resources. It helps to fund further social projects and create job opportunities.

Private donors invested heavily in the wake park. They saw the potential for sustainability. They believed in ICF’s mission. The wake park includes a man-made beach and a bar and restaurant. ICF had to import equipment from Europe. Wakeparx a major wake cable system company even came to help with the setup. This shows the global support for ICF Cambodia. The cable system alone cost $350,000.

ICF Cambodia relies on sponsors from 13 countries. They donate in five key areas: Child sponsorship food education health and transportation. Without transportation many children couldn’t participate. The trucks are vital for reaching remote villages. They bring the children to the center. This allows them to engage in activities and benefit from educational programs.
