Originally, ICAI stood alone. But in 1960, it merged with ICADE and became ICAI-ICADE. This was a smart move, broadening its reach and resources. Then, in 1978, a significant change occurred. ICAI-ICADE joined the Comillas Pontifical University. ICAI became the university’s School of Engineering. This cemented ICAI’s place in a wider academic world.
