Fritz Hüttinger founded the company in 1922, initially producing electrical apparatus. A shift in focus in 1926 saw them specializing in equipment for surgery and therapy. The company entered a new era in 1950, commencing series production of medium and high-frequency generators. These generators found a unique application starting in 1984, powering Trumpf lasers. This partnership culminated in 1990 when Hüttinger joined the Trumpf Group. Continued growth necessitated a move to new production and office spaces in the Haid industrial area in 2006. The final transformation came in 2013, with the company rebranding as Trumpf-Hüttinger, marking its global presence. The Hüttinger-Denkmal serves as a powerful reminder of the company’s enduring spirit, its ability to adapt and innovate, and its contribution to the technological advancements of laser technology.
