Later, a trusted minister inspected the Huanghuacheng Great Wall. He found it solid with excellent workmanship. Emperor Wanli regretted his hasty decision. He ordered a tomb and memorial stele built for General Cai. He also had “Jin Tang” carved on a rock. It meant “solid and firm”. That’s why it is sometimes called the Jintang Great Wall.
Today, you can hike along the Huanghuacheng Great Wall. You can cruise on Haoming Lake. You can explore the Ming Dynasty Chestnut Garden. These chestnut trees were planted by soldiers.
