“Glorious equestrian tradition,” Mr. Alabbar said. That’s exactly what Fernando Botero’s Horse 2007 embodies right here in Downtown Burj Khalifa. This bronze sculpture celebrates the spirit of Arabian horsemanship.

The Horse Sculpture weighs a hefty 1,500 kg. That is 1.5 tonnes of pure artistic expression. World-renowned artist Fernando Botero created this masterpiece. He is celebrated for his figurative work. His Horse sculptures are displayed in many international locations. They attract thousands of visitors.

Emaar Properties commissioned Horse 2007. It is part of the Art Programme for Downtown Burj Khalifa. The Horse Sculpture stands 310 cm high. It is 192 cm long and 156 cm wide. You will find it near The Dubai Mall and The Address Downtown Burj Dubai.

Many other artists have contributed to this 500-acre community. Their exclusive artworks are permanently displayed here.

Art collector Samia Saleh Baker played a crucial role in bringing Horse 2007 to life. She contacted Botero and oversaw every detail. This included designing the plinth. She also managed the shipment and final placement.

The Horse Sculpture features a Patina finish. It rests on a large plinth. This location provides uninterrupted views of Burj Khalifa. The world’s tallest building forms a stunning backdrop.

Downtown Burj Dubai is the flagship development of Emaar Properties. It’s considered the new heart of the city. Besides residential areas, it includes The Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar. Emaar Boulevard is also a highlight. It is billed as one of the world’s finest boulevards.

Botero’s Horse series perfectly complements Downtown Burj Dubai’s Art Programme. Emaar pays tribute to the region’s equestrian heritage with this exquisite artwork. The Horse Sculpture is now another major tourist attraction in Dubai.
