Hôpital de Loëx is located on Route de Loëx 151 in Bernex. You can reach them by calling +41 22 727 27 27. If you arrive by car parking is available. It costs 1 franc per hour during the week. This is between 8 am and 6 pm. At night and on weekends it is 50 centimes per hour. Bus number 43 stops at Loëx-Hôpital. This makes access easy.

The reception at Hôpital de Loëx is open every day. You can visit from 7 am to 8.30 pm. Visiting hours are generally from 8 am to 8 pm. Exceptions may apply so check before visiting.

If you get hungry Restaurant L’Oison is available. It is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. For smokers there are shelters in the park. If you forgot your slippers you can buy some at the reception. They sell slippers with backs. The hospital recommends visiting after 10 am. This allows staff to provide care without disruption. Hôpital de Loëx is part of the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics. You can find more information on their page.

Before your stay check your insurance. If you do not live in Geneva contact +41 22 727 27 05. This will ensure your stay is covered. Also bring important documents. These include your insurance card and ID. If the hospitalization is due to an accident bring the insurance decision. If it is due to a decision by the AI bring that decision too.

Hôpital de Loëx also focuses on your comfort. You can receive mail. Make sure the sender includes your name and the address. The address is HUG, Hôpital de Loëx, Route de Loëx 151, 1233 Bernex.

There is a beautiful green space to relax. Patients and their families can enjoy the park. There are also shaded areas. If you need a telephone ask a nurse. They will provide one for you. You will receive a bill for your calls. You can prepay for your calls. If you use less than you prepaid the difference is not refunded. If you go over you will receive a bill.

Before you leave Hôpital de Loëx make sure you have all necessary documents. This includes a discharge notice and medical certificate if needed. Also ensure you have your treatment card and any prescriptions. Finally schedule any follow-up appointments.

Religious services are held in the Salle Lagnon. Mass is on the second Sunday of the month. Worship is on the third Sunday. A chapel is open 24/7.

A hairdresser is available on the ground floor. Appointments are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The times are 1 pm to 5 pm. A care staff member can book an appointment. This service is at your own expense.

Newspapers and sweets are sold at the reception. The hospital provides a gown for your care. Remember to bring your toiletries and comfortable clothes. Personal laundry can be done for a daily fee. Stamps are sold at reception. You can deposit mail there too.
