They decided to build a church. The community purchased a one and a half acre lot. This lot would become the site of their new spiritual home.
The groundbreaking ceremony for Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church was a significant event. It took place on March 5 1961. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for the community. The blessing and consecration followed on October 13 1963. His Eminence Archbishop Hrant Khachatourian led the ceremony.
