His vision became a reality after World War II. On August 12 1945 the foundation stone was laid. Three nuns arrived in 1946. They opened the doors to 120 eager students. Those early days were filled with challenges. But the dedication of the nuns and the enthusiasm of the students fueled growth. The school quickly expanded. Its reputation for academic excellence spread.
In 2003 Holy Child School reached an incredible milestone. It was ranked among Africa’s top ten schools. A student from Holy Child achieved the highest score in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations. This success was no accident. Holy Child’s approach emphasizes actions over words.
