A community of Hindus in northern Greater Houston yearned for a place of worship closer to home. Before 2011 their journey to temples involved a three-hour round trip. The Hindu Temple of the Woodlands was their answer. Six years of planning fundraising and construction culminated in a stunning 10000-square-foot building. This beautiful temple sits on eight acres of land along the Woodlands Parkway. It serves not only The Woodlands but also Conroe Spring Tomball and northern Harris County. The temple’s construction cost $3 million. It’s a testament to the dedication and faith of its founders.
