Can you imagine attending a university college founded by six different partners? That’s the story of Haute École Léonard de Vinci (HE Vinci). HE Vinci was established in 1996 through a unique collaboration. Six distinct educational institutions pooled their resources and expertise. These were ECAM, ENCBW-IESP, IESP2A, Institut Libre Marie Haps, Institut Paul Lambin, and ISEI. Each brought its own history and specialization to the table. They laid the foundation for what HE Vinci is today. HE Vinci isn’t just one location. It operates across three campuses. Two are in Brussels, offering the vibrant city experience. The third is nestled in the charming university town of Louvain-la-Neuve. This multi-campus structure allows HE Vinci to cater to a diverse student body. It draws students from various backgrounds and nationalities. HE Vinci offers a wide array of programs. These include Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Advanced degrees. Focusing on professional and academic development, HE Vinci emphasizes project-based learning. This approach encourages students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. It prepares them for future careers. The university college has undergone significant structural changes throughout its history. In 2012, IESP2A and ISEI merged to create PARNASSE-ISEI. Then, in 2015, the five partner institutes officially fused to further solidify HE Vinci’s identity. A major shift occurred in 2019. ECAM, the Master’s program provider, joined another university college. HE Vinci reorganized into three main sectors. These sectors are Health, Human and Social Sciences, and Science and Technology. This streamlining helped optimize university governance and procedures. Haute École Léonard de Vinci remains committed to its founding principles. It aims to nurture talent and drive innovation. HE Vinci fosters a collaborative and welcoming campus environment. It embraces social responsibility and strives to equip students with the skills they need to thrive in a changing world.
