The company specializes in heat treatment for steel, aluminum, and other metals. They also dabble in mechanical processing. In 1993, the Seehafer family took the reins of Hanomag Härtecenter GmbH. Their leadership has guided the company through decades of growth. Hanomag Härtecenter GmbH expanded, adding locations in Berlin, Gommern, Gevelsberg, and Wernigerode in the late 1990s.
