The original Hannemanns Mühle, a landmark of Schönningstedt, was a gallery hollander windmill. This type of windmill, with its unique design, was once a common sight. But fire claimed it, leaving only memories and a void in the landscape. The community, however, refused to let the memory fade. They rebuilt Hannemanns Mühle, brick by brick, timber by timber, staying true to the original design. Today, it stands proudly, a testament to resilience and a tribute to the past. Inside, Hannemanns Mühle can accommodate 160 guests. But the magic truly unfolds in the summer. The outdoor terrace expands the capacity to a remarkable 300, inviting guests to dine under the open sky. Imagine the laughter and conversations echoing against the backdrop of the restored mill.
