If you’re feeling adventurous, take the longer circular hiking route. This 1-1.5 hour trek will lead you through the heart of the forest. Along the way, you’ll encounter picnic areas, scenic lookout points, and even exercise facilities. Near the parking area, a playground and picnic tables offer a perfect spot for families. For a shorter adventure, take the easy black trail. It will lead you directly to the Hanging Bridges and back in about 30 minutes. This trail is relatively easy, even suitable for baby strollers, though it is unpaved. Remember to hold on to the railing, especially at the center where the swaying is most pronounced.
