“Unimagined possibilities!” a voice whispers. That’s the slogan associated with Hall 9 here at the Hannover Exhibition Center. Hall 9 is not just any building. It’s an architectural masterpiece. It stands proudly in the southern part of the exhibition center.

Let’s talk about space. Hall 9 boasts over 23000 square meters of column-free event space. This vastness creates a unique atmosphere. The wooden ceiling construction is extraordinary. Wood, steel and glass form the hall’s identity. Guests always remember this material mix.

Hall 9 substitutes older exhibition halls 8 and 9. It only took ten months to construct. Hall 9 features a fully glazed design with five bays. Each primary girder stretches 138 meters. They are designed as self-anchored suspension bridges. Suspension cables, hangers, masts, and struts all play a role.

Dynamic and support-free the spatial cable girder construction covers 32800 square meters of exhibition space. It is the world’s largest roof of a trade fair hall. Five main girders span east to west. They stand 26 meters high. They are 45 meters apart. The girders structure the hall along its entire north-south length of 238 meters. The roof uses 1400 wooden cross-sections. Supply ducts are hidden inside. This structure showcases cutting-edge technology.

Still not convinced? Hall 9 sits directly at the OST 3 entrance. This means it has its own separately usable entrance area. The two closest hotels are a short walk away. One is three minutes away. The other is five minutes away. A separate car park offers over 1000 spaces. It’s only two minutes away.

The hall dimensions are impressive. It measures 210 meters long and 119 meters wide. The floor is made of asphalt slabs. The maximum ground pressure is 0.25 kN per square centimeter. The maximum floor lighting area loads are 100 kN per square meter. Daylight and artificial lighting illuminate the space.

The largest hall gate measures 4.50 meters wide and 4.90 meters high. The rental period for Hall 9 is freely negotiable. It’s a space designed for flexibility. Hall 9 is more than just a hall. It is a space where innovation meets possibility.
