In 2016 a large-scale cultural project revitalized the Hall of Fame. The project was initiated by the Tourism Department and the Urbana non-profit organization. About twenty well-known artists showcased their talents. They transformed the eight-meter-high pillars into stunning works of art. This transformation was part of “The Giants of Anderlecht” during the Itinérart artist’s trail.
Today the Hall of Fame remains a crucial space for graffiti artists in Brussels. It is a constantly evolving canvas. New works appear regularly. Older pieces are updated or transformed by new artists. The weather also plays its part. This constant change adds to the allure of this unique art form. It highlights its temporary nature.
The collection here is dominated by calligraphies and frescoes. The calligraphies often feature simple one-color letters. These serve as the artist’s signature.
