Established in 1973, Gymnasium Norf has seen a lot of history. It started as the “Kreisgymnasium Norf” with just 99 students. Now, Gymnasium Norf is the largest Gymnasium in Neuss, bursting with over 1200 students. Imagine the hallways buzzing with the energy of generations. Gymnasium Norf even hosted a holocaust survivor, Mina Gampel. She shared her powerful story with students, a testament to the school’s commitment to remembrance and learning from the past. The school also embraces a multicultural approach, celebrating “Unity in Diversity” as its motto. Students can earn the DELF certificate, showcasing their French language proficiency. And the arts thrive here. From theater visits to expressive photo exhibitions like “Humans of October 7th”, Gymnasium Norf fosters creativity and critical thinking. Remember Clemens Noll, a beloved teacher and friend. His loss is felt deeply within the Gymnasium Norf community. He represents the dedication and passion that makes this school more than just a building. It’s a living, breathing testament to education and community.
