Back in 1906 a charming school building was erected. This is the Grundschule Alsterdorfer Strasse. It stands proudly in Winterhude a short hop from the Winterhuder Marktplatz. While construction took place the school temporarily relocated. It found a home in the old H13 building next to the Holthusenbad. The Grundschule Knauerstrasse kindly offered its space. In February 2024 the Grundschule Alsterdorfer Strasse returned to its original location. It is a welcoming and vibrant part of the Winterhude community.
