Pastor Robinson holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary. He attended William Tyndale College. He is a Certified Dean from DCEAC. He serves in various leadership roles. He is part of the Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship of Detroit. He is also part of the Westside Ministers Alliance. He belongs to the Wolverine State Missionary Baptist Convention. He is the Congress President of Crystal Lake Missionary Baptist District Association. He is a DCEAC Certified Instructor. He founded Immanuel Bible Institute Christian Leadership School.

Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church started in 1984. It began in Pastor and Sister Robinson’s basement. The address was 20275 Forrer Street. Rev. Robinson was the Mission’s Superintendent. Members included Sister Robinson. Their children and Pastor’s sisters were also members.

On January 20, 1985, the church was formally organized. This happened at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Robinson, Jr. was elected Pastor. By July 21, 1985, they purchased their first building. It was a storefront at 13019 Puritan Ave.

On April 24, 1994, the church moved again. It moved to its current location. The address is 4438 Rosa Parks Boulevard.

The church has many ministries. These include Christian Education. There is a Women’s Auxiliary. The Paralee Warren Mission Circle exists. So do the Deaconess and Mother’s Ministry. There is a Youth Ministry and a Pastor’s Aide. The church also has a Nurses Ministry. Ushers and Culinary Ministries are present. A Computer Ministry exists.

Immanuel Bible Institute Christian Leadership School opened in 2005. It is accredited. The Dr. Frank Robinson, Jr. Scholarship Fund helps members serve the community.
