The old school held memories for many. Think of bustling hallways crowded classrooms and the roar of the crowd at homecoming games.

The new Granger High School a magnificent 150000 square foot building opened in 2013. It was a major undertaking. The groundbreaking happened during a homecoming game a truly memorable event. This new building boasts state-of-the-art facilities two gyms a 15000 seat auditorium and even an interior courtyard. The school is incredibly diverse. Students from over fifty countries attend classes here speaking over thirty languages at home.

The old building’s demolition in 2013 was bittersweet. Students and alumni were given a chance to take bricks as mementos. These bricks served as tangible links to the past a reminder of the school’s rich history.
