The Grand Canyon Mall opened in August 1999. The mall’s Hebrew name is a play on words. It translates to “Grand Mall”. This references the actual Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon Mall cleverly combines shopping with a sense of wonder.
Inside the Grand Canyon Mall, you will find over 220 stores. About 80% are chain stores. You will find a wide variety of options here. There was once a 4000 square meter spa. Also there used to be a children’s amusement park. Sadly, the park closed in April 2014.
The Grand Canyon Mall spans three retail floors. In total, it has seven floors counting other services. Parking is ample with 3000 spaces available. The mall has international brands. Armani, Lacoste, Benetton and Zara are here. Local brands also have a presence. A large food court provides many dining choices.
Note that the Grand Canyon Mall respects the Jewish Sabbath. The mall opens half an hour after sunset on Saturdays. Some stores and restaurants do open on Saturdays.
