Wise eyes stare out from the wall. This is the Graffiti Knowledge speaks Wisdom listens mural. It’s located on the corner of Samou and Konstantinou Palaiologou streets. The mural wasn’t always like this. In February 2017 someone vandalized it. They painted the word VIRAL in pink over the owl’s face. A group of volunteer restorers Street Art Conservators St A Co stepped in. They painstakingly cleaned the graffiti. They restored the owl to its former glory. Their dedication highlights the value of street art.
