Imagine stepping into a place where faith and community have intertwined for over four decades. This is Grace Assembly Church, a towering beacon of hope in the heart of Houston. Founded in 1983 by Pastors Steve and Becky Riggle, Grace Assembly Church began as a small gathering of 12 people at Clear Lake Intermediate School. Four weeks later, God provided the church with its first building in Webster, Texas. The congregation quickly grew, moving to League City in 1984.

But God had bigger plans. After years of steady growth, Grace Assembly Church purchased 86 acres on I-45 in 2004. They built a magnificent new home, opening its doors in 2006. Their commitment to serving the community blossomed, with regular outreach programs and prayer initiatives. This community not only reached out to the people of Houston but also extended its arms to the world, supporting over 90 ministries in different nations.

In 2014, Garrett and Andrea Booth became the Lead Pastors, continuing the legacy of faith and service for Grace Assembly Church. Their focus on cultivating a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and connecting individuals to purpose has led to a vibrant community. Today, Grace Assembly Church holds three services every Sunday: two in English and one in Spanish. The church’s auditorium, built to accommodate a growing congregation, now seats 8,000 people.

Grace Assembly Church, standing tall on I-45, is more than a building. It’s a symbol of unwavering faith, a testament to the power of community, and a testament to the reach of God’s love in the heart of Houston.
