Welcome to Good Shepherd Catholic Church in San Diego. Good Shepherd Parish is a welcoming multicultural Catholic community. It is a place of faith. God calls its members to live out Christ’s message. They show love and service to all people.
Good Shepherd Catholic Church is located on Gold Coast Drive. The address is 8200 Gold Coast Drive, San Diego. It sits west of I-15 and east of I-805. Take the Mira Mesa Blvd exit from either freeway. Then turn south onto Camino Ruiz. The church is on the corner of Camino Ruiz and Gold Coast Dr.
Good Shepherd offers many services. Mass times are diverse. Saturday Vigil Mass is at 4:30 PM in English. A Vietnamese Mass follows at 6:30 PM. Sunday offers several options. English Mass is at 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM. There are also masses at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM. A Spanish Mass is at 2:00 PM. The final Sunday Mass is at 5:00 PM in English.
Daily Mass is available Monday through Saturday at 8:30 AM. Monday through Friday also has a 5:30 PM Mass. Note that there is no evening mass on civil holidays. Check the calendar for updated mass times.
Good Shepherd provides other services too. Confessions are heard on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Confessions are also available by appointment. Contact the Parish Office to schedule. Devotions include Mother of Perpetual Help on Tuesdays. This follows both Tuesday Masses. Saint Jude devotions occur on Thursdays. These follow both Thursday Masses. Weekdays offer Morning Prayer at 8:00 AM. Evening Prayer is at 5:00 PM.
Good Shepherd streams some masses. The Sunday masses at 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM are streamed. The Monday through Saturday 8:30 AM mass is also streamed.
Good Shepherd has various ministries. These include Filipino, Vietnamese, Hispanic, and Indian communities. There is TNTT Kitô Vua Youth Ministry. A Core Team is also present. The church also has a Mental Health Ministry.
