The history of Christianity in Thailand has seen challenges. Early missionaries faced persecution from the Buddhist monarchy. Yet, they persisted. They spread their faith throughout the country. Even today, Thai Christians can face discrimination. Some Thais view their beliefs as foreign or threatening.

The first meetinghouse in Thailand was dedicated in 1974. This happened in Asoke, Bangkok. About 350 local members attended. Elder David B. Haight officiated.

The Church has grown since then. In 1995, the Bangkok Thailand Stake was created. Thipparad Kitsaward became its president.

Today, Glory To God Church continues this legacy. It provides a space for worship. It supports the local Christian community. It also reaches out to the wider community. Despite challenges, the Church embodies faith. It embodies perseverance and growth.
