“Why does this church look so new?” someone asks. Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i has a fascinating history. It is a testament to the Cao Th\u00e1i parish’s enduring spirit.

Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i was first established in 1955. It was located in Long Ph\u01b0\u1edbc, Th\u1ee7 \u0110\u1ee9c District, Gia \u0110\u1ecbnh Province. Later, in 1967, it moved to Long B\u00ecnh. This is now Vinh Thuan, Long B\u00ecnh Ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

The founding priest of Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i was Father Peter Maria Tr\u1ea7n Gia V\u0129nh. He rests in peace since July 2, 1969.

Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i dedicates itself to Jesus Christ the King of the Universe. Currently, Father Peter Phan Kh\u1eafc Tri\u1ec3n serves as the head priest. He has been in this role since August 2009. You can find Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i at 34/17 \u0110\u01b0\u1eddng 16, V\u0129nh Thu\u1eadn, Long B\u00ecnh Ward, District 9.

The parish includes several sub-districts. These are dedicated to Saint Joseph, Our Lady Queen of the Rosary, Saint Anna, Saint Peter, and Saint T\u00ear\u00eaxa.

Gi\u00e1o X\u1ee9 Cao Th\u00e1i has many active groups. These include the Dominican Laity Fraternity, the Family of the Sacred Heart, and the Catholic Mothers Association. Also active are the Eucharistic Youth Movement, the Patient Care Committee, the Liturgical Committee, and the Pastoral Communications Team.

The parish also boasts several choirs. These are the Vietnamese Martyrs Choir and the Holy Cross Choir.

Mass is celebrated on weekdays at 5:45 PM. On Sundays, Mass is offered at 4:30 AM, 7:00 AM, and 5:00 PM.

The parish has special times for Eucharistic Adoration. It takes place on the fourth Sunday of Lent. It also occurs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays after evening Mass at the beginning of each month.

Baptisms are held at 4:30 PM on the first Sunday of each month. Religious education classes for children take place every Sunday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
