They have served God’s people faithfully for over 26 years. The church was chartered on February 6, 1982. Its official beginning was on Friday night August 21, 1987.
Bishop and Mother Latimer established four churches. These churches included properties at 1901-1915 East Broad Street in Savannah. Others are at 313 Floyd Street in Sandersville GA. Further locations were 315, 317, 319 and 321 South Heald Street in Wilmington DE. Also they built a new church at 4573 Grady Mertz Road in Tennille GA. All Genesis New Life properties are debt-free. This is due to the leaders’ wisdom and guidance.
Genesis New Life Apostolic Faith Church celebrates many years of service. The main church is located at 1900 E. Broad Street in Savannah. The headquarters church is at 4573 Grady Mertz Road in Tennille GA. In 2013 they celebrated 31 years of service. The celebration started December 1st and lasted until December 8th.
Genesis New Life honored Bishop Andrew and Assistant Pastor Evang. Patricia Williams. This special appreciation service took place on March 15 2020. It was held at the church on 1900 E. Broad Street. Bishop Andrew L. Williams was born on September 20 1963. He received the Holy Ghost on August 20 1987. He was under the leadership of Bishop Latimer. He served faithfully for over 30 years in the church.
