Financially self-reliant, the Gemeindehaus – Landeskirchliche Gemeinschaft Stormarn operates on a bedrock of voluntary donations. Almost all of its annual expenses are covered by its members. A small percentage comes from the Ev.-luth. Church in Northern Germany. This financial independence allows the Gemeindehaus to pursue its vision.
The Gemeindehaus – Landeskirchliche Gemeinschaft Stormarn also links to the Gnadauer Arbeitskreis Hamburg. This connects it to the Gnadauer Gemeinschaftsverband. This is the largest lay movement within the German Evangelical Church. This connection underscores its commitment to a broader network of faith-based organizations.
The younger members find their place in the EC-Nordbund. This youth organization provides a space for growth and fellowship. It ensures that the values of the Gemeindehaus – Landeskirchliche Gemeinschaft Stormarn. These values are passed on to future generations.

The Gemeindehaus – Landeskirchliche Gemeinschaft Stormarn has approximately 125 adult members. The EC-Youth group has around 20 members. Children and teenagers regularly visit. About 25 dedicated volunteers lead groups. Around 100 volunteers take on regular tasks. The church averages about 100 people attending services.
The Vorstand is the leadership team. It consists of eight volunteers, a youth representative, and two full-time theological staff members. They guide the church. They ensure that the Gemeindehaus remains true to its mission.
