The Gebetshaus Baptisten is a special place. Here people gather around the clock. They meet in God’s name. They want to draw His presence into our city.
What does God’s presence mean for us? It stands for positive change in people. It means transformation of cities and nations through prayer. It also signifies unity among Christians.
We believe in prayer without ceasing. The Bible teaches us this kind of prayer brings drastic change. We have all seen God turn hopeless situations into real opportunities. He does this through prayer.
The Word of God is our guide. It gives us encouragement. It is our mission. Our prayer expresses our desire to seek the best for the city. We follow Jeremiah 29:7.
Margarete Hackmann is one of the spiritual leaders. Christel Knips is also a leader. Andrea Zurborg is another spiritual leader at Gebetshaus Baptisten.
Christel Knips leads prayer groups. These groups include Tuesday evening praise. There is Wednesday morning worship. Also, there is an Israel prayer group.
Andrea Zurborg leads Tuesday evening praise. She also leads the praise team. Margarete Hackmann leads Wednesday morning worship. She also leads Wednesday evening praise. This praise includes chorales. Helmut Hackmann also leads Wednesday evening praise with chorales.
The Gebetshaus Baptisten team is growing. It includes people from Dortmund and the surrounding area. We always welcome new members. You are invited to seek God with us. Come and pray. Honor Him.
