The Gaslamp District is more than just a food park. It is an experience. Imagine cycling along the Cebu Transcentral Highway. This 33-kilometer road boasts breathtaking views. You are ready for a break. Then you arrive at Gaslamp District.

This is a perfect rest stop. Whether you are traveling north or south, Gaslamp District welcomes you. The food park features famous restaurant kiosks. You can enjoy scrumptious meals, hefty snacks, and sweet desserts.

What makes Gaslamp District special? It is the atmosphere. The container van and cycling motif are very photogenic. Murals adorn the walls. Some seats are even made of bicycle saddles. Bike racks are available for visiting cyclists.

TDG Cafe is a popular choice. It offers coffee, breakfast meals, and pastries. Casa Verde is also here. You can also find My Joy for fast food. Dimsum Break offers Chinese food. Sigop serves Filipino favorites. Master Po combines Chinese and Filipino cuisine.

Craving seafood? Seabu offers grilled seafood. For a sweet treat, try Ally Mango’s mango shake. Overload Avenue serves grilled food. Tet’s Spizzal has pizza. The Gaslamp District has a fascinating backstory. The Daily Grind opened its Busay branch in December 2021. But Typhoon Odette forced it to close. The branch reopened in January 2022. It ran on a generator because the typhoon damaged the electricity.

Mika Caram, the owner, is used to operating in crises. The pandemic inspired her to open in Busay. She designed the layout with open-air spaces for better ventilation.

Before the pandemic, TDG mainly served foreign tourists. Now, it caters to locals. TDG started in Kasambagan in 2018. The Busay branch is popular with cyclists. It is located in the mountains away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

TDG’s loyal customers can still enjoy their favorite meals here. The TDG Big Breakfast is a bestseller. The Breakfast Burger is another favorite. Guests can enjoy the mountain view and cool breeze.

Getting here is easy. If you have a private vehicle, parking is free. But overnight parking is prohibited. You can take a motorcycle taxi from JY Square. The fare ranges from ₱50 to ₱100.

Gaslamp District is open every day from 7 AM to 10 PM. It is a must-visit food park. Whether you are cycling or simply passing by, you will not regret stopping here. Enjoy the breathtaking view, the cool breeze, and the delicious food. It is a truly unique experience.
