Since 1 August 2010 Ganztagsschule Osterbrook has been a primary school. All primary school children attend the all-day school. They eat lunch in the cafeteria. They also participate in afternoon activities. Class sizes are capped at 19 children. This provides more space in classrooms. Rooms previously occupied by secondary level I have been converted into group rooms.

This allows students to participate in school decisions. Lunch can be pre-ordered. The school also organizes various projects with the students. These projects may be artistic or subject-based.
Ganztagsschule Osterbrook is located at Osterbrook 17-19 in 20537 Hamburg-Hamm. The school strives to nurture each child’s development. It provides a holistic educational experience. The afternoon program begins daily at 1 pm after the lunch break. It provides a learning time for German and mathematics on two afternoons. Other afternoons offer a range of activities until 4 pm.
