You find yourself standing before Galeria Senhora Presidenta, a vibrant space pulsating with creative energy. This gallery, a relatively new addition to Porto’s art scene, opened its doors in August 2018. Galeria Senhora Presidenta quickly established itself as a champion of contemporary art in its many forms. Inside these walls, you’ll discover a diverse collection of drawings, illustrations, paintings, ceramics, and photographs. The gallery also features the exciting world of performance art and music, making it a truly multi-sensory experience. Founded by Dylan Silva, Luís Cepa, and Mariana Malhâo, Galeria Senhora Presidenta is deeply rooted in collaboration. The founders, all alumni of Porto’s Faculty of Fine Arts, actively seek to connect local artists with their international counterparts. This creates a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives, enriching the Porto art scene. Galeria Senhora Presidenta is more than just a gallery. It’s a space where art transcends boundaries and sparks dialogue.
