Frontier Hall. A haven for Konkuk University’s female students. It’s a place of dreams, friendships, and late-night study sessions. Frontier Hall, part of the KU:L House, opened its doors in 2006. It’s one of four residence halls on campus, specifically designed for Konkuk University students. Frontier Hall and Dream Hall house the female students. Lake Hall and Vision Hall accommodate the male students. Together, these halls create a vibrant community, housing up to 3,000 students. That’s the largest on-campus student population of any university in Seoul. Imagine living just a short walk from classes. Frontier Hall offers that convenience. It’s a mere ten-minute stroll to the university grounds and even closer to the Anam underground station. This prime location allows students to easily explore the surrounding Anam district with its abundance of affordable restaurants and cafes. Inside Frontier Hall, you’ll find double rooms designed for comfort and functionality. Each room is equipped with two single beds, two spacious desks, and two chairs. Essential bedding is provided, including bed sheets, blankets, and pillows. While some rooms offer Wi-Fi, all rooms are equipped with internet wire connections. Bathrooms are private, featuring a toilet, basin, cabinet, and a surprisingly spacious shower. Students provide their own towels and other bathroom essentials. While the rooms lack kitchen facilities and refrigerators, the abundance of nearby dining options makes up for this. From quick and cheap lunches to late-night McDonald’s deliveries (yes, they deliver right to the dorm!), there’s always something to satisfy any craving. Frontier Hall offers a safe and secure environment. A security guard is always present in the lobby. There’s no curfew, allowing students the freedom to manage their time effectively. Frontier Hall is more than just a dormitory. It is a place where students build lasting memories. It is a launching pad for their future endeavors.
