Friendship Presbyterian Church

It continued to serve the community, especially “the poorest of the poor.” The church’s dedication to education led to the founding of City Tree Christian School in 1976, right on the church campus. Today, Friendship Presbyterian Church embraces a diverse congregation. Its members live across San Diego County and beyond. They gather at the church for worship, fellowship, and scriptural study. Friendship Presbyterian Church welcomes people from all walks of life. Each new member class often reflects a rich tapestry of experiences. Some are highly educated, while others have experienced homelessness. The church’s core leadership consists of long-standing members. Many of them grew up within the congregation.
