FEZ-Berlin stands as Europe’s largest non-profit center for children, youth, and families. It blends education, adventure, and culture into one amazing experience. Imagine 100,000 square meters outdoors and 13,000 square meters indoors. That is a lot of space for fun. It is the perfect place for events or simply running around.
Let’s step back in time. The FEZ has roots in the DDR era. In 1951, it began as the “Pionierrepublik Ernst Thälmann.” Even then, a park railway existed. Children and teens managed it. In the seventies, the “Pionierpalast” came to be. Today, it is the “Freizeitpalast” at the heart of FEZ.
