Nestled in Hamburg’s western heart, the Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld beckons. This isn’t just a building. It’s a haven. In May 2020, the Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld joined the Hamburgprojekt. This was a significant step. Then, in September 2020, something amazing happened. The Hamburgprojekt, including the Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld, merged with CityChurch Hamburg. Together they formed a new church: HAVEN. You can find the Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld, now known as HAVEN Bahrenfeld, at Kielkamp 49. The Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld has a rich history. It’s part of the Stiftung Freie evangelische Gemeinde in Norddeutschland (FeGN). This location is particularly special. It’s situated between the Elbe River and the stadium, right by Volkspark and the Trabrennbahn. While HAVEN has a new website, haven.hamburg, the Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld’s website still exists. It holds detailed information about the church’s past. You can find details about services and events on the HAVEN website. They hold services every Sunday at 11:00 am. There’s also a separate children’s service. Once a month, they celebrate communion. After the service, the Gemeinde-Café usually opens. It’s a place where people can connect over coffee, tea, and biscuits. The Freie evangelische Gemeinde Hamburg-Bahrenfeld, now HAVEN Bahrenfeld, welcomes everyone.
