Archaeologists uncovered two battle-axe graves from that era right here in Fredriksberg, one of which is proudly displayed at Lund University Historical Museum. Fast forward to the 19th century, and the name “Fredriksberg” first appears on a map. It belonged to chamberlain Nils Trolle, passed on to his son Frederik, the likely namesake of this area.
