Amidst the construction and excitement, a small congregation, Summerlin Evangelical Lutheran Church, planted its roots. This church, now known as Foundation Lutheran Church, became the first spiritual beacon in Summerlin. Foundation Lutheran Church wasn’t just a building. It was a cornerstone. It represented a testament to the community’s growing need for faith and fellowship. Over the decades, as Summerlin blossomed into a vibrant hub, so too did the church. Thousands of new residents arrived, transforming the landscape. Through it all, Foundation Lutheran Church remained a constant. The church has seen changes over the years, including a name change and a new pastor. Yet, its foundation, built upon the teachings of Jesus Christ, remains steadfast. Today, Foundation Lutheran Church offers a blend of traditional and contemporary worship. The services are rooted in biblical teachings, blending the rich heritage of Christian hymns with modern arrangements. Pastor Frey leads the congregation in exploring God’s word.
