Rising high above Berlin-Marzahn is an extraordinary sight. It’s the Flower-Tower, a residential high-rise that brings a touch of nature to the urban landscape. This is no ordinary building. It is a canvas where art and architecture meet.

The Flower-Tower stands tall at 58.05 meters. It has 18 stories and dates back to the 1980s. Find it on Allee der Kosmonauten 145. The building gained its floral identity on November 14, 2012. A celebration marked its transformation with residents and dignitaries present.

The French artistic group CitéCréation redesigned the tower. They drew inspiration from the Gardens of the World. This makeover took seven months. The cost was 2.4 million euros. As of June 2017, it was Europe’s tallest facade artwork.

The Flower-Tower is owned by the Friedenshort housing association. It is a WHH GT 18 type building. The vibrant floral facade brings life to the area.

Imagine living here. Each day you are greeted by giant flowers. These aren’t real but are masterfully painted. They add a splash of color to the grayness of city life.

The Flower-Tower is more than just a building. It’s a symbol of creativity. It shows how art can transform everyday spaces. This once-ordinary high-rise is now a landmark. It attracts attention and admiration. The Flower-Tower stands as a testament to the power of art in urban environments. So next time you are in Berlin, take a trip to see the Flower-Tower.
