What began as a small gathering of believers in 1874 has blossomed into the First Baptist Church of Los Angeles. The church now stands proudly at 760 South Westmoreland Avenue. It holds a significant place in the city’s religious history.

Did you know that the current church building was designed in the Spanish Gothic style? Allison & Allison designed it in 1927. It is said that the design was inspired by the Ducal Palace in Mantua, Italy.
