On Tuesdays the church gathers for Bible Study and Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. The first Sunday of each month is dedicated to Holy Communion. Youth Sunday is observed on the fourth Sunday. PALS, the Parents Association of Little Singers, supports the W.H. Neal Youth Choir. They provide financial support for choir activities and the church’s building fund. The Pastor’s Aid Ministry assists the Pastor in his responsibilities. They coordinate the annual Pastor’s anniversary. The Progressive Ministry brings cheer to shut-ins. They send flowers to members who are hospitalized. The Sunshine Garden Ministry shares rays of love with sick and shut-in members.
The B.N. Scott Ushers serve as church doorkeepers. They serve on the first, fourth, and fifth Sundays at 11 a.m. worship. The Sanctuary Ushers serve at the early morning worship. They also serve at church revivals and on other occasions. The Sanctuary Youth Ushers, ages 6-18, serve on fifth Sundays.
The Missions Ministry promotes Christ through missions. They offer opportunities for sharing and strengthening. They also widen the vision of members in building God’s kingdom. Activities include monthly meetings with Bible study. They also do nursing home visitations. They organize clothing drives and prepare personal hygiene kits. The Mary L. Neal Scholarship Fund enhances the education of college students. They offer Christmas Cheer to shut-in members.
