Can a small seed grow into a mega-church? At First Love Centre – The Mega Church in Accra, the answer is a resounding yes. First Love Centre began in a small chapel at the University of Ghana, Legon Campus in 2012. Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, guided by the Holy Spirit, founded this new denomination with just a handful of students. First Love Centre – The Mega Church wasn’t always “mega”. Years later, Pastor Joshua Dag Heward-Mills, son of the founder, established a new branch in East Legon. This location now serves as the headquarters for this burgeoning church. Fast forward to today, and First Love Centre – The Mega Church boasts a state-of-the-art auditorium and over 10,000 members. It has quickly become one of the largest churches in Accra. Thousands of young people flock to its services, drawn by the church’s welcoming atmosphere and passionate focus on soul-winning. They believe in Jesus, soul-winning and working for the Lord all day long. First Love Centre – The Mega Church offers more than just a typical Sunday service. It’s an experience, filled with the Word of God, worship, and the Holy Spirit. It’s a testament to the power of faith and the vision of its founders, a place where a small seed of faith blossomed into a vibrant community.
