Here stands the First Century Apostolic Church. It is more than just a building. It is a testament to faith and community.
First Century Apostolic Church started in 2007. The first branch was in Teshie. Teshie is a suburb of Accra. The founder had a clear vision. The church would preach the eternal truth of God’s Word. They would operate in the power of the Holy Spirit. This mirrored the first century apostles. That’s where the church got its name.
By December 2010, a second branch opened. It was located in Tema. Tema is a port city. This branch became the ministry’s headquarters. Over time, other branches appeared. Michel Camp Branch came next. Then Nii Boye Town and Agona-Swedru Branch. The Lord expanded the ministry.
The four branches thrive in Accra and Tema. They have growing memberships. Church programs are diverse. Miracle Services are held. So are Tarry’s, All-Nights and Anointing Services. Signs, wonders and miracles occur regularly. Deliverances happen at all church meetings. Agona-Swedru Branch serves a special purpose. It is a Retreat and Training Centre. Pastors, leaders and departments use it.
The First Century Apostolic Church also has departments. A well-established Media Department exists. It streams church programs online. This benefits online users.
The church’s vision is profound. It aims to be the House of God. Also the Gate of Heaven. This is for all who love and desire to serve God. The church wants to see people saved. Delivered, healed and discipled. Empowered and equipped. All for God’s work and glory.
The mission follows the first century Apostles. They want to preach the pure Word of God. God confirms it with signs and miracles. They minister healing. Deliverance comes to those oppressed. This is done by the Holy Spirit’s power. They reach out with the Gospel. They spread Jesus Christ’s power to every corner of the world.
The church believes in one God. He is the Creator of all things. He is eternal and omniscient. God exists in three Persons. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
They believe the Bible is inspired by God. It reveals His will for salvation. It guides Christian faith, life and service. They believe in Jesus Christ. He is God the Son. He had a virgin birth and a sinless life. He performed miracles on earth. He died on the cross. He resurrected and ascended to Heaven. He is coming again to judge the world.
The Holy Spirit’s ministry is essential. He convicts the world of sin. He guides believers. He empowers them for godly living and service.
Salvation comes through Jesus Christ’s death. It justifies those who believe. These are the true children of God. They are saved by grace through faith.
The church believes in the Rapture. Jesus Christ comes for His Church. Believers will meet the Lord in the air. Jesus Christ will return to judge the world. The saved and lost will resurrect. They will receive everlasting life or punishment.
The Universal Church includes all who are saved. It is the Bride and Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit empowers the church. They worship God and spread the gospel. They perform signs and wonders.
The First Century Apostolic Church believes in Heaven’s existence. They also believe Hell is real.
Core values guide the church. Faith, truth and prayer are vital. Holiness and discipline matter. Sanctification and perseverance count. Knowledge is also key.
The church’s logo has meaning. Christ crucified between two thieves shows God’s grace. One thief blasphemed Jesus and died. The other confessed Him and lived. This is the FCAC’s message to the world.
The First Century Apostolic Church is faithful. It looks forward to greater works. It wants to take more territories for the Kingdom.
