It all started in 1916 when a small school of dentistry, known as the School of Dentistry, was created under the wing of the Medical Sciences Faculty. It wasn’t until 1956 that the School of Dentistry finally gained its independence and was officially established as the Facultad de Odontología UNC. On November 5, 1956, after much deliberation and consideration, the decision to elevate the school to the status of a Faculty was officially recognized by the UNC Superior Council. Since then, the Facultad de Odontología UNC has grown and become a renowned institution for all of Argentina. The Facultad de Odontología UNC is located on the west wing of the Argentina Pavilion in the heart of the Ciudad Universitaria, a bustling hub of learning and research within Córdoba. Since 1958, the Facultad de Odontología UNC has called this place home. Today, the Facultad de Odontología UNC boasts an impressive School of Postgraduate Studies to enhance the continuous education of its graduates. The Facultad de Odontología UNC offers a wide range of postgraduate specializations, including fixed, removable, and implant prosthetics, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Today, the Facultad de Odontología UNC stands as a beacon of excellence in dental education, research, and community outreach.
