A church built on faith, not fire. That’s the Everlasting Baptist Church. It stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of its congregation. Here at 115-07 Sutphin Boulevard, the Everlasting Baptist Church has a story to tell. A story of resilience and community. It’s a story that starts in the Bronx. In March 2017, the first neighborhood gathering of Everlasting Church took place, led by Jordan and Becky Sauceda. Worship services began two months later in May, hosted at Full Element Martial Arts at the corner of White Plains Road and Brady Avenue. Drawn to the diverse Pelham Parkway neighborhood, the Saucedas saw an opportunity. They envisioned a church that embraced the world through its local community. Everlasting Baptist Church sought to be more than just a place of worship. They aimed to become a family. A family forever loving God and people. The church eventually moved to Brady Court Community Center at 768 Brady Avenue. They held services there every Sunday at 10:00 am and 11:30 am. Their mailing address is P.O. Box 622623, Bronx, NY 10462. Everlasting Baptist Church’s journey began in a martial arts studio and blossomed in a community center.
