Is this heaven? No, my friends, this is the Evangelical Restoration Church! Well, at least it felt like heaven to many when it reopened after the Covid-19 lockdown. You see, in July 2020, when churches were finally allowed to open their doors again, there was quite a sight to behold. People flocked to the Evangelical Restoration Church with such enthusiasm, it seemed their faith had only grown stronger during the time of isolation. However, due to social distancing measures, the church could only cater for less than a quarter of its usual capacity. Imagine, the Evangelical Restoration Church normally accommodates 1,500 people per service! Sadly, over 1,000 members couldn’t attend because of the restrictions. Even with these limitations, the reopening of the Evangelical Restoration Church brought hope and comfort to many. It was a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, faith can bring people together.
