This stadium replaced the old Estadio Municipal in 1999. It has been a local landmark ever since. AD Alcorcón proudly calls it home.
Originally, the Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo held 2800 fans. In 2009, the city decided to expand it. The expansion honored AD Alcorcón’s success. Plans aimed for 12000 seats. Funding difficulties shelved those dreams.
The stadium saw further renovations completed in 2014 at the cost of six million euros. The capacity increased to its current 5,100 seats after the second level was added to the east stand. New changing rooms and sanitary facilities were built too. A multimedia screen was also installed.
Getting here is easy. The stadium is a short walk from Alcorcón’s city center. Take the Cercanías suburban train from Madrid. Line C-5 from Atocha station goes to Móstoles-El Soto. Las Retamas station is next to the stadium.
You can also take the metro. It’s a longer trip. Alcorcón and Parque Oeste metro stations are a 20-minute walk. Both are on circular line 12.

Want to catch a match? Tickets are available at the stadium’s ticket windows. You can buy them before the game. Alcorcón matches rarely sell out despite the stadium’s size. Main stand tickets cost about €30. Other stands are around €20.
The Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo isn’t just for club matches. It has hosted international games. In 2013, Spain U21 played Russia U21 here. In 2015, Spain and Israel faced off in American football. It was a European Championship qualifier.
