Closed in 2014 Escuela del Pacifico was once a vibrant part of San Diego. It was a public elementary school. Its doors opened on September 6 2010. For four short years it served the community. Students from kindergarten to sixth grade learned and grew within its walls. The school was located at 4260 54th Street. It was a traditional school offering a standard curriculum. It was also a charter school with the number 1109. Though its time was brief its legacy lives on in the memories of its students and staff. Imagine the laughter echoing in the hallways the scent of freshly sharpened pencils the hushed excitement of a test day. Picture the vibrant artwork adorning the walls created by small hands full of dreams. Escuela del Pacifico may be closed but its spirit remains a testament to the power of education and the importance of community. Its brief existence left a mark. It reminded everyone of the dedication and hard work of teachers and the potential held within each child. Even though the building is silent now the memories within continue to thrive. Remember Escuela del Pacifico a small piece of San Diego history.
